We have one FDA-cleared product that is a medical imaging (e.g. CT, PET and MR images as well as other DICOM data), communication and analytics platform. This year we are looking to deliver a greater impact to our customers by extending our presence to the web with our first Ruby on Rails application.

Position Summary

We are seeking bright software engineers for full-time work who want to grow with our company. They should be polyglot programmers passionate about writing software in a variety of paradigms. Two focus areas are available: the first will deal with maintaining and expanding released products, while the second will pursue research-oriented tasks, including prototyping possible future products. Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Proficiency with the entire software development lifecycle: design, coding, debugging, testing, and documenting

Optional Skills

  • Knowledge of algorithm design and CS theory (informally, CS degree not required)
  • Experience with current JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Ember.js, etc.)
  • Functional language knowledge (Erlang, Haskell, Scheme, Lisp, Clojure, Scala, OCaml, etc.)
  • API design experience
  • Broad knowledge of major programming languages and runtimes, such as Python, Node.js, Javascript, Ruby (esp. Rails), Java, C++, C#
  • Experience developing large projects in Java, JavaScript, or Ruby
  • Experience building large, scaled distributed systems
  • Experience with scalable cloud and web services
  • Dev-ops including machine configuration and deployment on AWS, Docker containers, VMWare, VirtualBox
  • Low-level Linux hacking (including file-systems, kernels, databases, etc.)
  • Database programming, be it with inline SQL or stored procedures, using various database engines
